I know the truth, so don't bother me with the facts.  summary

the other Jeffery Kluger once said, " I know the truth, so don't bother me with the facts." in another word,

People believe everything they hear even if its true or not true. There was this assistant professor of communication at Ohio State University recruited 750 people who reported believing at least one of the rumors about the proposed Islamic cultural center. They also try to determine whether exposure to the facts of the case of opinion. The two trouble conclusion were the peoples belief system and the best of circumstances. Once the people take the time to learn the facts they don't believe the facts are true.

In the article "Hype" published from Kalle Lasn, states that now days we hear and see a lot of advertisement every day. Also everyone is getting used to it, and advertisements are about everything that we might need or not need. It is true  that advertisements are everywhere which that its not good for us to look at everyday. Furthermore, I think that now advertisements play a big part on public because it gives people interests. Some people can be affected by these advertisements in both negative and positive ways.

First, it can effect the people interests to do something they should not do. Many people  become over weight now especially in the United States. People are complaining about their weight. If we look at the problem and notice that they always eat a lot of food that have a lot of calories and sugar. Commercials show people foods that have a lot of fat, that cause obesity. In order to sell their products commercials only show the positive aspects for example McDonald's food is cheap and fast. Even though their food is cheap and fast, people are getting tricked by the commercial and eating unhealthy food from McDonalds.

Another way advertisements have impacted many people's lives negatively is people waste a lot of money. Advertisements grab people attention. Companies make new useless products and make them look interesting to make people think it's special. Many people had shown there interests on advertisement which has become a problem. For example, sometimes when I look at an advertisement that says Apple has created a new iPhone by hearing all the descriptions it makes me want to buy a new phone. I still have my old iPhone which basically has the same apps as the new one, but in the advertisement they make it so interesting it makes a person blind and want to buy  the new one.I spoke to one of the employees who works at the Apple company, he said that they only want people to keep on buying the new things that they recently had made. Some of the advertisements are true but some are not. A new Iphone cost a lot of money, sometimes  we spend money  on things that we don't need.

If we look and think criticaly we will find that products are   not important and we could do something better than buying these new products. Just like the people rather than buying a book to read or to apply for a course that can lead them to  better positions. If they have money why shouldn't they do something that can benefit them.
